Auction Index Inches Ahead in Second Quarter

With Italy leading the way, index returns to previous high

In the second quarter of 2004, the Wine Spectator Auction Index bounced back to its all-time high of 197, which means that listings in the database have nearly doubled in value since the index's inception in 1995.
