
After 10 years in the works, "The Oak Knoll District of the Napa Valley" has become an official American Viticultural Area, making it Napa's 14th subappellation. Located north of the city of Napa, east of the Mount Veeder AVA and south of the Yountville AVA, the Oak Knoll District covers 8,300 acres, mostly on the valley floor.
