A Fork in the Road at The New York Times
Amid controversy, the Times names new restaurant critic and chief wine critic
On April 8, The New York Times named Frank Bruni as the newspaper's new restaurant critic. The move follows widespread criticism of interim critic Amanda Hesser, which led to an Editor's Note on March 31 acknowledging a conflict of interest in one of her reviews.
