Total Sales Rates Soar at U.S. Auctions in Early 2004

Heightened percent-sold rates dominated the U.S. auction scene in early winter, underlying the ongoing strength of the fine wine market. Zachys boasted a record 99 percent, followed by Acker Merrall & Condit at 91 and Bonhams & Butterfields at 87.
