Pristine provenance was a driving factor in November and resulted in record-breaking sales on several occasions. When consignments originated with single-owner cellars (the Harter collection at Aulden Cellars-Sotheby's), or the winery itself (Château Latour at NYWinesChristie's), heated bidding and strong percent-sold rates ensued.
