The Heitz Family Remains in Charge

When Joe Heitz died on Dec. 18, 2000, it left a huge void, not least because the winery had always been a family venture. The Heitz children were closer to their parents than most. Kathleen Heitz Myers, the president of the winery, and David, the winemaker, along with their younger brother, Rollie, grew up working side by side with their parents.
