California Cabernet's Split Decision

A few stars shine in 2000, but overall quality is variable

Vintage 2000 is a split decision for California Cabernet Sauvignon. A few wineries made their best Cabernets ever in 2000, and many others made excellent wines. Yet most Cabernet producers considered 2000 a challenging harvest.
