The end of summer brings the social season to a climax on the tony South Fork of Long Island, as some 75,000 people attend the Hampton Classic Horse Show in Bridgehampton, N.Y. This year, bridles made way for bottles as the weeklong event kicked off with the first Long Island Wine Classic on Aug.
