
A rebel prevails in Bordeaux Stéphane Derenoncourt sported shoulder-length hair, earrings and the attitude of a rebel when he came to Bordeaux in 1982 looking for a job as a picker at harvest time. The son of a steel mill worker, Derenoncourt had never seen a vine, much less tasted fine Bordeaux.
