Zinfandel's Big Question
While 2001 does shine, how ripe is too ripe?
The 2001 vintage for Zinfandel is shaping up as the variety's best year since 1997. While I don't think it's the breakout year that many do, it has warmed the hearts of Zinfandel producers who think the wine is better than ever.
