It seems impossible to write about how Gordon Ramsay has become London's most celebrated chef without mentioning the "bad boy" image that his critics and his idolaters love talking about. After all, the 6-foot-2-inch, Scottish-born, former professional soccer player seems to revel in the kind of publicity he has garnered.
