Under an L.A. scene painted by David Hockney, diners dig into plates of striped bass with mango, cilantro and lime salsa, their glasses of Flowers Sonoma Coast Chardonnay at the ready. Through the glass doors, more people are seated under umbrellas, shaded from the midday sun.
