From Cabernet and Syrah to Champagne and Port, there's plenty here to delight wine lovers of all stripes. California Cabernets this week include cuvées by Bond, Dominus, Futo, Hall and Harlan. For value reds, look to Washington. In France, ethereal Champagnes from Piper-Heidsieck and Billecart-Salmon are matched by intense Côte-Rôties. Finally, find ample surprises among Ports and Madeiras.

This week offers a rich array of reds, whites and Champagnes at up to 97 points, including yet more classic 2012 California Cabernets. Kongsgaard, Larkmead, Dana, Favia, Alpha Omega and Beringer all take a bow here, while stunning vintage Champagnes are led by Salon and Bollinger. Rare white Rhônes shine as well, and among the Spanish values is a 93-pointer at just $17.

There's plenty to catch the eye here, Old World and New. Another set of high-flying 2012 California Cabernets, up to 96 points, includes successes from Venge, Cade, Dana, Turnbull and Favia. Krug, Bollinger and Moët embody refinement in Champagne, with Rhône whites and Spanish reds filling this out.

This week brings another California Cabernet bonanza, at up to 96 points, with impressive 2012s from Frank Family, Altamura, Carter, Robert Mondavi, Ramey, Araujo, Bryant Family, Revana, Turnbull and more. Washington has a diverse mix of wines, while Oregon Pinots also excel. Francophiles can look to the Rhône. Check out the 16 wines here at 90-plus points and $40 or less, including a 95-pointer for $38.

The 2012 California Cabernets march on, with delicious and exceptional releases from Peter Michael, Scarecrow, B Cellars, Corra, Carter, Hall, Rudius and more. For those who go for Washington reds, we've got plenty here, and bubbly fans can find Champagnes to love, but perhaps most intriguing are the rare old Madeiras, dating back to the 1977 vintage.
