At up to 97 points, here's a set of new releases, with monumental wines from California, Oregon and Italy. Oregon Pinot Noirs from leaders Ken Wright, Domaine Serene and Erath amaze with freshness and focus, while California heavyweights Bedrock, Eisele Vineyard and Turley deliver standout examples of Syrah, Zinfandel and more. Classic-rated Brunello di Montalcino from Italy rounds out this all-red list.

At up to 99 points, here's a set of new releases, with spectacular wines from California, Oregon, France, Italy and Portugal. Reds from Golden State standard-bearers Saxum and Hall stand beside potent Pinot Noirs from Oregon. Sumptuous Chablis leads into bold Italian reds, including the newest release of Antinori's famed Solaia bottling. A remarkable 18 wines here scored a classic 95 points or higher.

At up to 96 points, here's a set of new releases, with stunning reds and whites from California, Oregon, France, Italy and Spain. Knockout Barolos from Piedmont steal the show, but Oregon Pinot Noir from Alloro and California Syrah from Pruett wow as well. The latest release of Bodegas Emilio Moro's powerful Malleolus bottling is here. Ten great-value wines score 90-plus points and cost $40 or less.

At up to 98 points, here's a set of new releases, with top-tier wines from California, Chile, France, Italy and Portugal. Rhône grapes make a strong showing here, with Golden State Syrahs from Saxum, Lewis and PlumpJack, as well as French versions from the appellations of Condrieu and Châteauneuf-du-Pape. Cellar-worthy Barolos from Piedmont wow, and Port dating back half a century exhibits rare beauty.

At up to 96 points, here's a selection of new releases, with winning reds and whites from Australia, France, Germany, California and Washington. California Pinot Noirs from Dehlinger and Paul Hobbs impress, but a panoply of bold Rhône-style reds from across the world leads the pack here, with standout versions from Washington's K, Australia's Penfolds, California's Alban and France's Domaine du Pégaü.
