Is there anything wrong with using a coffee filter to filter cork from wine?

It's better than straining the cork through your teeth, or worse, chewing on cork bits. I've used coffee filters and cheesecloth (and in a pinch, even paper towels) in my decanter funnel to strain those nasty bits of cork from the wine. There are no harmful side effects.
