$15 to $30

Aug. 02, 2010 ANNE AMIE Cuvée A Amrita Willamette Valley 2009 (88 points, $16)

Refreshing and lively, offering pretty pear and apricot aromas and flavors, shading toward citrus flowers on the finish. Chardonnay, Müller-Thurgau, Viognier and Pinot Gris. Drink now. 1,050 cases made. —Harvey Steiman

More than $30

Aug. 02, 2010 TORRES Cabernet Sauvignon Penedès Mas La Plana Black Label 2006 (90 points, $63)

This firm red is framed by chewy tannins, and fleshed out by cassis and currant fruit flavors, along with aromatic notes of tobacco and cigar box. Despite firm tannins and acidity, this shows balance, but will benefit from some age. Best from 2012 through 2020. 1,500 cases imported. —Alison Napjus
