Seductive aromas of truffle, rose, raspberry and wild cherry draw you in. On the palate, this is elegant and focused, picking up accents of licorice, spice and tobacco. A hint of tar emerges as this graceful red lingers on the complex finish. Best from 2017 through 2030. 330 cases made. —Bruce Sanderson

Dec. 23, 2014: TWO HANDS Shiraz Barossa Valley Coach House Block Single Vineyard Seppeltsfield Road Greenock 2012 (95 points, $127)

Plush and powerful, with a salvo of black cherry, blackberry, currant and spice box pushing through layers of fine tannins and coming out the other side with exuberant aromatics. The finish loses no momentum carrying these flavors in a big but relatively agile package. Best from 2017 through 2025. 250 cases made. —Harvey Steiman

Expressive, with date, dried fig, floral, herb, mocha and melted licorice notes backed by mouthwatering acidity and suave tannins. Refined and silky in texture, with a long, spiced finish. Drink now through 2029. 1,800 cases imported. —Alison Napjus
