More than $30

Jan. 27, 2015: MASSOLINO Barolo Parafada 2010 (95 points, $99)

Black currant and cherry fruit drapes over the fine-grained texture in this refined red. Balanced and long, with tobacco and mineral elements. There are ample tannins despite the finesse. Best from 2017 through 2032. 150 cases imported. —Bruce Sanderson

Jan. 26, 2015: FATTORIA DI FELSINA Toscana Berardenga Fontalloro 2011 (94 points, $62)

A firm, linear red, featuring black cherry, black currant, leather, tobacco and tar notes on a dense frame. This persistent version builds to a long fruit-, spice- and mineral-tinged aftertaste. Combines power and finesse, and should age beautifully. Sangiovese. Best from 2017 through 2027. 3,750 cases made. —Bruce Sanderson

Jan. 24, 2015: HURÉ FRÈRES Brut Champagne Terre Natale 2002 (93 points, $102)

The lovely, lacy texture wraps around the firm acidity and broad shoulders of this well-knit Champagne, supporting an aromatic profile of baked plum, chopped almond, lemon curd and warm spices. Hints of brioche and cognac emerge on the persistent finish. Disgorged March 2014. Drink now through 2024. 3,000 cases made. —Alison Napjus

Jan. 23, 2015: CHÊNE BLEU Viognier Vin de Pays de Vaucluse 2012 (92 points, $41)

Gorgeously pure, with long, flowing honeysuckle and heather notes that frame the core of Jonagold apple, apricot, green plum and pear flavors. Bright quinine and mineral notes take over on the finish, giving this serious length and definition. Drink now through 2016. 150 cases made. —James Molesworth

Jan. 22, 2015: AZELIA Barolo 2010 (92 points, $48)

The chewy texture gives definition to the cherry, plum, licorice and tar flavors. The tannins are surprisingly civilized, making this Barolo relatively open and fluid for the vintage. Tightens up on the finish. Best from 2017 through 2030. 2,200 cases made. —Bruce Sanderson
