Very Mosel in style, with peach, lime and mineral notes, a creamy texture and a light but rich frame overall. Excellent balance and flavors make it enjoyable now, but this should also age well. Drink now through 2012. —Bruce Sanderson

Jun. 24, 2005: ROBERT WEIL Riesling Kabinett Rheingau 2003 (89 points, $28)

Though the aromas and flavors aren't that expressive now, this white has a tangy quality and a citrus edge that refreshes the palate. A little compact on the finish now. Give it six months to open. Drink now through 2010. —Bruce Sanderson

Jun. 23, 2005: PFEFFINGEN Riesling Spätlese Pfalz Ungsteiner Herrenberg 2003 (89 points, $25)

Elegant, though there's no shortage of intensity. Lime, grapefruit and white pepper are the main themes, with a little heat tugging it out of balance on the finish. Give this a little time. Best from 2007 through 2015. —Bruce Sanderson

Jun. 22, 2005: LEITZ Riesling QbA Rheingau Dragonstone 2003 (89 points, $17)

A whiff of almond gives way to tangy lime, grapefruit and peach flavors in this rich, yet focused, Riesling. Picks up a creamy vanilla note on the finish, which lingers nicely. Drink now through 2012. —Bruce Sanderson
