There are times when you wonder how someone like Bob Foley gets it all done.
He seems the quintessential wine man in motion, with a plate full enough to feed three Bobs.
Yet for all his enological dynamics—Robert Foley Vineyards, Hourglass and Switchback Ridge wines, which he makes at his winery on Howell Mountain—and still playing a consulting role with Pride Mountain Vineyard, he makes time for what looks like a full-time gig as an aspiring rock star.
Yesterday he stopped by our office in Napa, dropping off some wine samples for review and visited with our MaryAnn Worobiec, who talked to him about his new CD, title Paperboy.
The story behind Paperboy, as Foley explains in this video, is that as a teen, he met his future fellow band members—drummer Mike Greene and bass player Dave McCullough—while delivering the Oakland Tribune to their home.
