Tomato, Mozzarella and ... Watermelon?

Several restaurants here in Aspen are mixing heirloom tomatoes with watermelon in salads and soups. Maybe tomatoes and watermelons are finding their way onto plates together all over the U.S. and I just haven't heard about it up here in my remote mountain village.
