MaryAnn Worobiec has been with Wine Spectator since 1997. As senior tasting coordinator in Wine Spectator's Napa, Calif., office, Worobiec has been responsible for training new staff members, managing the cellars and coordinating blind tastings. She is the lead taster for New Zealand and also tastes Petite Sirah, as well as Sauvignon Blanc and other white wines from California. She was promoted to senior editor in January 2013.
A graduate of Ohio State University with a degree in political science and sociology, Worobiec worked for the Ohio House of Representatives before falling in love with wine.
