Jennifer Fiedler joined Wine Spectator in 2006. She writes's biweekly food and wine pairing column “8 & $20” and has covered wine collecting, auctions, Q&As and design for the magazine. Born and raised in Honolulu, her first experience in wine was in New Zealand, where after completing high school she went to Waipara to work the harvest. She has a degree in English from Yale University and a Grande Diplome from the French Culinary Institute in New York City.
