Tasting Beat: Argentina, Chile, southern Italy
Nathan Wesley joined Wine Spectator's New York tasting department in 2005. He is the lead taster of wines from Argentina, Chile and southern Italy. He also tastes wines from Hungary. Since 2007, he has managed the Restaurant Wine List Awards program, coordinating the annual review of more than 4,000 wine lists, including Grand Award winners. He was promoted to senior editor in January 2013.
A graduate of the Culinary Institute of America and Case Western Reserve University, Wesley worked in restaurants for 10 years, including New York's Tribeca Grill, a Grand Award winner.
