Comment: The menu prices suggest a "special occasion" restaurant, but the wine prices suggest otherwise. A truly wonderful list filled with small production wines that rarely find their way to restaurants (like Aubert, Radio Coteau, Kosta Browne, Brewer-Clifton, Martinelli). All but the most sought-after cult wines are reasonably priced. Food is wonderful and the room is majestic. Corkage is indeed $25 as reported by WS.

Comment: A visit to this restaurant is one of the truly great dining experiences in New York City. One of the great dining spaces, and the food, wine, and service rise to the occasion on every visit.
