PRATESI Toscana Carmione 2005 (92 points, $35)

Very attractive toasty oak, pepper and blackberry character follows through to a full-bodied palate, with velvety tannins and a long, flavorful finish. This is multidimensional. Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Merlot. Best after 2009. 2,000 cases made.
