VIÑA NEYEN DE APALTA Espíritu de Apalta Colchagua Valley 2003 (90 points, $40)

Solid, and broad-shouldered, with tobacco, mineral, cedar, black currant and game notes held together by tightly grained tannins. Builds nicely on the finish and shows solid concentration as it opens in the glass. Carmenère and Cabernet Sauvignon. Drink now through 2008. 1,200 cases made.
