Cigar Toys: Piquadro Carrying Case

Not everybody walks away from the Oscars carrying a gold statue, but performers and presenters never walk away empty-handed. Each year, the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences selects a handful of high-end items and accessories as part of gift baskets that are presented backstage. This year, one of the items was this black leather carrying case from Piquadro.

Manufactured in Italy using soft, Italian grain leather, the case is a practical and convenient companion for the businessmen who travels and enjoys bringing a few cigars along. The case features a stainless steel, three-finger cigar case, but only two of the fingers can hold cigars. The third is a flask. The two cigar fingers can accommodate cigars up to 7 inches long and a 52 ring gauge, while the flask holds four to six ounces of your favorite spirit.

Along with the flask and cigar case, a single-blade guillotine cutter is included, plus several sleeves for holding credit cards and business cards. The leather case has a magnetic clasp to keep everything together and, although it is a little large for the breast pocket, it is compact enough to put in a briefcase.

The Piquadro Leather Case retails for $228 and is available at luxury shops nationwide.
